The Movie Gifted (starring Chris Evans and Mckenna Grace)

We recently went for a screening of the movie Gifted that will be in the movie theaters starting with April 12. Gifted is an awesome family drama, with a great humor, and good acting (Chris Evans from Captain America and Avangers and Mckenna Grace, I’ve seen her before in Once Upon A Time, a very talented kid ). Gifted was produced by the company Fox Search Light Pictures, that is known for supporting the production of great independent films.

Here is a little bit about the plot of the movie. Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy – his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) – in a coastal town in Florida. Frank’s plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the 7-year-old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother, Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan), whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary.

The story focuses on the unique problems that occur when trying to raise a gifted child. One of them is how do you give her a normal happy life without holding her back.
