GOOD FOR KIDS AND EVEN TODDLERS:
My toddler and I just came back from an advanced screening of Smurfs: The Lost Village. It was the first movie my 24-months-old son ever saw in a movie theater. So, I was not sure if he would sit through the whole movie. But he did and he loved it! We also took his friend, who is also a two year old . The friend was mesmerized when he saw Smurfs and their beautiful surroundings and so he also sat through the whole movie. If you have a small child, take them for this movie!
SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE GRAPHICS & ANIMATION:
The animated digital graphics were just wonderful. You get the feeling that you are in a real place even though it is clearly a fantastic world with Smurfs. We watched in 2D since getting a 24 month-old to wear 3D glasses might have been tricky. But, I would have loved to see it in 3D, myself and would recommend you try that to get the full “awe experience”, if you can.
SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE VOICE CAST:
Smurfs: The Lost Village’s voice cast was excellent: Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Jack McBrayer (from 30 Rock) is Clumsy, and Julia Roberts is SmurfWillow.
